Delivery and Returns

Delivery for Rental Item(s) 

We make shipping convenient for you by using Express delivery service Australia wide. 



Our Shipping fee is a maximum of $30 which includes the delivery to you, and the return back to us in a pre-paid satchel. Place your order before 2pm AEST and receive it the following day (Capital Cities Only. Allow 1-3 days for regional areas).

Please note: We recommend selecting a delivery date 2 days before your event to ensure a smooth delivery. Please read FAQs for more details.


Return for Rental Item(s) 

Easy returns available to our Sydney boutique or via the pre-paid return bag provided by High St. Hire. If you are sending your item(s) back via postage, simply place it in a pre-paid return bag and drop it at your nearest Post Office (do not drop off at a yellow Express Postal Box). 

High St. Hire take care of dry-cleaning, so you don’t have to worry about it. Please read FAQs for more details.


Cancellation / Late Rental Returns

In the unlikely event that you returned your rental item back late, you will incur late fees. If your event is cancelled or you cancel your hire, you will be issued with a credit note that is valid for 3 months from the date of cancellation. Please read FAQs for more details on our refund, credit note and cancellation policies before hiring.


Purchased Items(s)

For any High St. Hire Purchased Item(s) for keep you may return or exchange full priced Item(s) within 7 days from when you receive your Item(s) for Australian customers and 21 days for international. Clearance Sale Item(s) are FINAL and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please read FAQS for more details on our return and exchange policy before purchasing an item(s).

We use Australia Post for all domestic orders and DHL for all International orders. Please note the following estimated delivery timelines and costs:



International Orders 

We offer international shipping to most countries from Australia. We don’t ship to international armed forces, freight forwarders or international PO Boxes.

Customs & Import Duty Fees

The prices within the online store do not include relevant overseas duties and other customs charges you may incur. These costs are imposed by your local customs office and are outside of our control. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with your country's customs charges and levies prior to placing an order.

We strongly recommend 'tracking' be purchased for all returns as we will not be held liable if your item is not received.

Please note that if you are returning items to us from an international location a Customs Declaration form must be completed and placed on the package. It is also very important that you label the items as 'returned goods'. Failure to do so will result in the package being held in customs with charges applied for customs duty. The parcel will not be released and forwarded to us unless YOU the customer pays these fees. If you do not pay the fees, the parcel will be returned to you by the Australian Customs Dept.

Fraudulent Orders

We reserve the right to cancel or temporarily hold an order in the circumstance that we have sufficient grounds to believe that the order is fraudulent or has fraudulent characteristics. In such instances, we will attempt to make contact to the buyer using the email address and/or number provided at the time of the booking and request that a proof of identity be provided before releasing your order. In the event we are not able to make contact, or the information provided is not satisfactory, High St. Hire have the right to cancel your order without notification.


Track your order

Tracking information will be available via a despatch email notification. Your signature will be requested upon delivery. We dispatch all online orders from our warehouse in Sydney, NSW.
